Issue One | Foundations

In Issue One of our magazine, we have chosen the theme of foundations. In our feature article on Charleston Farmhouse, we explore the interiors of the iconic Sussex gathering point of the Bloomsbury group, which today is a hub for artists and the local community. We have also chosen to showcase the innovators who are taking heritage craft forward. In Edinburgh, we visit the store and workroom of Stewart Christie, the oldest tailors in the city, before heading to meet Clare Campbell at her B-Corp tartan mill in the Highlands. Finally, we travel to the store and workroom of Campbells of Beauly, the Highland country outfitters. The foundations of our own lives are also explored, in those places we journey to, for respite and inspiration. We hope you enjoy our first Issue, and are excited to bring more stories to you soon.
